Found conversations

Two conversations overheard recently on local talk radio:

1. Caller: I am against this idea of drafting women.
   Host: Why?
   Caller: Because I don't want anybody shooting at me!
   Host: Do you support the President's actions in the war in Iraq?
   Caller: Oh! Absolutely! I am 100% behind the President.
   Host: Just as long as you don't have to go over there and fight, huh?
   Caller: Exactly!



2. (The next call was in reference to Alan Keyes' idea to stop taxing African Americans as reparations for slavery.)
   Caller: I totally support reparations to African Americans because of the slavery thing. I think it's a good idea.
   Host: Do you support it for all black people?
   Caller: Yes!
   Host: What about people who are only partially black?
   Caller: I don't know about that.
   Host: Who should have to pay the extra taxes? How about an Asian American that immigrated here after slavery was abolished?
   Caller: It should be paid by people that descended from people that owned slaves.
