No boring essay, just boring talk
You are an SEDF--Sober Emotional Destructive Follower. This makes you an
evil genius. You are extremely focused and difficult to distract from
your tasks. With luck, you have learned to channel your energies into
improving your intellect, rather than destroying the weak and
unsuspecting.
Your friends may find you remote and a hard nut to crack. Few of your
peers know you very well--even those you have known a long time--because
you have expert control of the face you put forth to the world. You
prefer to observe, calculate, discern and decide. Your decisions are
final, and your desire to be right is impenetrable.
You are not to be messed with. You may explode.
Hmmmm...it does sound a lot like me.

Dad Update:
He's still in the hospital. Once we got him moved to Nashville, things have been much better. After I was able to talk with his doctor last Friday, I felt much better. He said blood clots are not unusual in patients that have highly envasive surgery like my Dad had. There should be no long term effects from the blood clots in his lungs. (This was contrary to what the doctors in Bowling Green had told my Dad and Mom.) There is about a three or four percent chance of recurring blood clots, but the doctor doesn't think it will happen.
Dad will have to take Coumadin (aka, Warfarin, the effective ingredient in rat poison) for three to six months to keep his blood thinned properly. As a matter of fact, the reason he is still in the hospital is they are trying to find the right level of blood thinness.
Anyway, the prognosis is good so far. Thanks again for the prayers and thoughts.

I'm really worried about Shauna, too. About all she wants to do these days is sleep. I mean, like around the clock. She is currently without health insurance (it's a long story), and I can't get her to keep her medications refilled or to see a doctor. I'm hoping that insurance paperwork arrives today so she can resume her coverage and get everything back on the right track. Her knees don't seem to be improving, either, despite weeks of physical therapy. She is trying to work a temporary job for St. Thomas Health Services, but I know she doesn't feel like working most days. I've been spending a lot of my free time at the hospital, so I feel like I haven't been a very good husband to her lately.
